10 things I've loved lately

Part 10!

The 10th edition of my silly little lists of things I’ve loved, thanks for being here 🥰

• Hunter Candles: one of the great achievements of my life was finding a boyfriend who also likes a candle burning at home & I can therefore keep up a back-to-back rotation & put them on the joint card. I think this one is my favourite from this gorgy Australian brand.

• Going on a bushwalk (!!) with my friends on the latest public holiday; highly recommend going on the All Trails app in your own area to think outside the box for a walk! I love walking with my friends and talking about the same stuff we’ve been talking about since we were 13.

• Famesick - Lena Dunham on audio: I am a Lena Dunham apologist and you can’t convince me otherwise

• Finally purchasing loafers! Crazy how much I wanted them yet it took me literal years to purchase

• A dedicated and ongoing rewatch of Sex and the City after discovering we had an HBO Max subscription and finally finishing And Just Like That. I can’t get enough of it & I’m dreading finish the series. The rewatch is also doing nothing to quash my desire to live in NYC…

• The perfection that is sitting in the sun with a gentle breeze at a window bench & just working on your laptop alone for a little while

• Puzzles… I have been buying from the op shop & I tell you what, it’s the easiest (and most satisfying) way to stop scrolling of an afternoon

• A book club dinner at Pocket Pizza in Manly. I love this venue. We were discussing The Dutch House by Ann Patchett <3

• A rediscovery of the song Yamaha by Dijon, absolute 10/10 banger especially when played loudly while driving

• A Sunday night dinner with friends at Ripples in Little Manly as they’re running 50% off a 3 course meal during Winter (and you can BYO). The quality of the food is incredible there; probably some of the most delicious brussel sprouts I’ve ever eaten!
